Ron Hand

Ron Hand

Junior Varsity Head Coach

Happy grandpa to Lakeston. Graduated from Syracuse university a long time ago but gleaned enough lacrosse by watching to take on coaching roles beginning with Parks and Rec and more recently High School boys' programs. Finally graduated to coaching the girls' game. Enough said. Go United.

Ralph Lewis

Junior Varsity Assistant Coach

Committed to providing coaching, mentoring and leadership to all lacrosse players with focus on expanding and growing lacrosse throughout Central Oregon. Ralph has coached for Bend United since 2020. Prior to that, he was Assistant Varsity Boys Coach (2017-2019) at Mountain View High School in Bend. He has held numerous Varsity Head Coach and Assistant Coaching positions in California from 2003-2017. He was Head Coach for Men's Lacrosse, Cal State University, Chico from 1993-1996.

Malie Neese

Malie Niebergall

Middle School Coach

Born and raised in Wyoming, athletics were my whole childhood. During my undergrad in Elementary Education, I was able to play collegiate lacrosse for the University of Stirling, in Stirling, Scotland and the University of Wyoming, in Laramie, Wyoming, for the remaining seasons. I also coached simultaneously for a middle school girls team in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Bend was my next stop for graduate school in accreditation for School Counseling. Essentially, my concentration of passion is for youth and athletics. So, getting into the lacrosse community in Bend has been a prime aspiration.
