$260 program fees – This covers field usage, uniforms, officiating, etc. The Bend Lacrosse Booster Club helps keep cost low with fundraising endeavors throughout the year. We are moving to an online registration/payment process this year through TeamSnap, so this program fee also includes a small transaction processing fee via WePay.
$35 US Lacrosse Membership – This is required for every player to provide insurance coverage for your athlete. Go to US Lacrosse to get more join or renew your membership.
Peroidic grade checks for 5/6 and 7/8 will be conducted by the coaches throughout the season. The philosophy of the Bend Lacrosse Program is Student/Athlete. Student first, athlete second. We will be checking ParentVUE, StudentVUE, or Manage bac.
Communication will occur through numerous electronic methods, but all updated information will be posted on this website. Once the tryouts are complete and the teams are finalized, we will be using TeamSnap to manage the following:
- Contact information for players and parents
- Player rosters
- Game schedules and events (Including locations/maps)
- Availability tracking for key events/games
- Task tracking and assignments (e.g., drivers, scorekeepers, snacks, etc.)
- Statistics tracking
- Messaging (Emails, Alerts, Team Chat, Live Tracking for Games)
- iOS/Android App for access to all info on the go
Registration can be accessed through this website via the Register button below, on the home page (or the 5/6 and 7/8 team pages) and will be open from February 1st through February 24th. You will need to pay the program fee and will need to enter your US Lacrosse number when you register. If your player is not selected to continue in the program the registration fee will be refunded (not the US Lacrosse fee which is handled separately).
Tryouts will take place at the Hal Puddy field. 5/6 tryouts will take place February 27/28. 7/8 tryouts will take place March 1/2. For those of you also registering for the Park and Rec Lacrosse program, that registration closes March 2. We encourage you to sign up for that program now as well because Park and Rec will refund fees if your player makes one of these teams.
After selection to the program, expect practice 3 days per week. Each session will be ~ 90 minutes. We are currently working on field space at this time. Note: There is a possibility of a 3dlacrosse workshop on March 4th. More to come on this.
The schedule is fluid at this point. We are planning on two tournaments this year, SALI on May 13/14 and tentatively the Voodoo Tournament in Portland June 3/4 (Conclusion of season).
We are hoping to schedule multiple games with our local school programs (Sisters, Summit, MVHS 7/8, Ridgeview). Other games might require travel to Portland, Burns, Hood River or other locations easily reached by a day trip.
We are not currently looking at any games on April 1/2 weekend (end of spring break) and May 28/29/30 (Memorial Day).
Uniforms will be provided by the program, but unlike past years, they will be collected after the season. Players will receive a shooter shirt. The reason is to keep fees low for the players.
The Booster Club funds five different lacrosse teams and functions from donations. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to be a member of the club. Club fees are $10 per year.
- Auction Dinner (Nancy Marcus) – The main fundraiser for Bend Lacrosse Booster Club. This year the dinner will be held on March 10 at the Bend Senior Center.

- Score keeping at the Oregon Lacrosse Classic, held in Bend on July 21-23.
